1What WikiLine is
A WikiLine entry is the official profile of a person or company inside Booooooh: a summary, key facts (role, location, founding date, official website…), a few in-depth sections and the list of sources. Booh translates it into the reader's language and shows it next to the results.
2Inspired by Wikipedia, with one difference
Like Wikipedia, WikiLine asks for verifiable facts, a neutral tone and no original research: every important fact must cite a public source. The difference is who writes: on WikiLine only the subject (or whoever runs the company) writes the entry, with a verified identity, and a Linework operator approves every version before it goes online.
3Who can create an entry
People: anyone with a certified Linework profile and a verified LineIn profile, with at least one item and proofs approved by an operator for all of them; the entry is always your own, you cannot write someone else's. Companies: a certified admin of a company page on LineIn that has already been claimed (with a company email and documents). Without this verification the entry cannot be written and does not appear in WikiLine results. Entries about minors are not allowed.
4How to create your entry
1. Get your profile verified on LineIn in the Linework app. 2. Connect your profile to Booh and open My WikiLine entry in the Booooooh browser. 3. Your data already verified on LineIn create the draft. 4. Edit it as you wish, adding sections and sources (at least one, up to 30) and linking each fact to its source. 5. Send it: an operator checks it and, if approved, it goes online.
5How the decision is made
A Linework operator checks every revision: that you are entitled to write it, that the sources exist and confirm the facts, that the tone is neutral and that there is no advertising, insults or other people's personal data. If approved, it goes online right away; if not, you get a note with the reason, fix it and send it again. Before publishing we always check again that you are still entitled.
6Changes and versions
Every change goes through the same review: the live entry stays the approved one until the new version is accepted. If you send a new version while the previous one is still pending, it replaces it. So the public entry is always a reviewed version. You can withdraw your entry whenever you want with the "Withdraw my entry" button: it disappears from Booh within a few minutes and you can propose it again later.
7Writing rules
Write facts, not slogans: no superlatives, promotion or judgements about others. Use public, reachable sources, preferring registers and official websites. Respect the people you mention and their privacy. Write clearly: Booh translates the entry into the engine's 8 languages.
8Automatic entries and reports
If a person or company has no verified entry yet, Booh may show an automatic one taken from Wikipedia and Wikidata, always marked "not verified". Once you create your WikiLine entry, the verified one is shown. Anyone can ask to remove incorrect content through the removal request; Linework can withdraw a published entry, explaining why.
